About us

**In 2014 the National Society of the Daughters of the Revolution (DAR)began accepting paternal Y-DNA results as part of the source documentation research package to help prove heritage to a Revolutionary War Patriot. The DAR now joins with the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and the General Society of Mayflower Descendants (GSMD) in accepting DNA for linear proof.
