On this moment (2019) we have about 9,000 family members in our Family Tree. They are split in three separate trees. With DNA-investigation we will try tp prove relationship between these trees.

The  earliest ancestors of these three Trees we have given the front names: ARIEN, JOANNES and DIERICK.

The most earliest ancestor however we know from archive investigation we have given the name of Stamvader as shown in the menu 'Photos'. However for this first DNA-investigation we have chosen for his great-grandchild Joannes.

For our first DNA-investigation we have chosen six specific family members, namely in each Family Tree (3) the two sons of the earliest ancestor (3x2=6) . For this moment all names are pseudonymized. Their real names are only known by the board of the Bijvoet & Byvoet Family association.

ARIEN Tree:
1. SJAAK, descendent of the first son CLAAS of ancestor Arien
2. PETER, descendent of the second son ADRIAAN of ancestor Arien

JOANNES Tree:
3. SIEP, descendent of the first son HUBERTUS of ancestor Joannes
4. JANNES, descendent of the second son JACOBUS of ancestor Joannes

DIERICK Tree:
5. ALLEN, descendent of the first son JOANNES of ancestor Dierick
6. ROBJE, descendent of the second son POULS of ancestor Dierick

With the DNA of these six family members we hope to get prove the existence of the three Ancestors
• If there is a match between 1 and 2; this will prove the existence of ancestor ARIEN
• If there is a match between 3 and 4, this will prove the existence of ancestor JOANNES
• If there is a match between 5 and 6, this will prove the existence of ancestor DIERICK

Much more important is a match between descendents in different trees. If so we have prove that all  family members are related and can be collected in ONE Family Tree.
