We have good news and bad news. The good news is that the Big Y results are in for our first Bellette tester and his haplogroup is currently listed as I-A6741. The bad news is that he has no close matches and that I-A6741 represents an ancestor who lived two or three thousand years ago and well before surnames. It is crucial we get another Bellette direct male line descendant to test and create the Bellette haplogroup. If you know someone please encourage them to contact us and to test.
