1) To establish the Y-DNA haplogroup of Jacob Bellette through his descendants on the direct male line.
2) To establish links to others around the world who are descendants of those who share a common ancestor with Jacob Bellette.
3) To assist any Bellette descendants trace their lines through the combined use of DNA and traditional family history research.
