The project has thus far confirmed that all known Beeson yDNA testers in the USA descend from Richard Beeson (1684).

Genealogies
There are currently eight confirmed pedigrees that patrilineally descend from Richard Beeson through three of his sons, Richard, Benjamin and William (see chart below). If you are a yDNA match to the group and you haven't already provided your direct paternal lineage to your earliest known ancestor, please, provide this information on the project's activity feed or by directly emailing the project administrator.


YDNA
Deeper SNP testing is needed from project members. All project members are encouraged to upgrade to Big Y 700. Current Beeson/Beason yDNA members have been confirmed positive at SNP mutation I-Z382. Further testing is needed to determine sub-Z382 clades. Current data suggests the Beeson group's sub-Z382 SNP path goes as follows: Y2170>PH1178>BY1031>PH4774>Y7232>Y18238+


atDNA
There are no autosomal DNA matches amongst group members (with the exception of one father/son pair).


mtDNA
There are no known mtDNA signatures available for any Beeson/Beason matrilineal ancestors.
