Anwar, Sorry it has taken me so long to answer. My Hyplogroup is Q-YP1004. The Flaming Heart represents the love I have for my family. The Cross for my faith in God. The Crossed Axes for my military service. The Cross of David with the Christian Cross inside represents my placement in the Ashkenazi genetic pool, and my belief in Christ. The motto is "Love, Honor, Faith". The medals are for my service in Viet Nam. The "seal" above the shield is the same as the same as the "seal" on this page. (Freddy Krupa and I designed and drew the seal) The Angels are guarding the "Seal". The white and blue lines stand for "Water". My original surname is "Lake". The two "Creatures" are 1/2 Fish and 1/2 Wolf. I am a Pieces (fish) and also the Royal Xiongnu Clans of Ashina.(wolf). My blood is A RH negative blood. My eyes are hazel and turn from light blue to light green. My hair was blond then turned darker, (now grey LOL) David

Hi David it is interesting. My mother have RH negative too althought it is ABnegative. I was told negative RH are usually Westerner. And this blood type is only 1% of world populations. Very very rare. But all of us dont have the RH negative except for my mom. I am actually chinese. But my Y-DNA say C-M216 which is turkic I suppose!

I must advise all that this group is not stagnant, It is upgraded and changed with time and with new solid proofs. And it has its own dynamic.

How do we know if we meet the DNA requirements to be apart of the group? I have not received any information.

Hi everyone! I joined the group because I saw that someone has submitted a kit to the mtdna page, and has listed my Great Grandmother as their ancestor. I wanted to ask if there is any way to contact people who have submitted kits to the project? I have looked for this person on my family finder match list, but they are not there.

They may not match your autosomal DNA which is the Family Finder. The match might be too far back in time. Is this great grandmother on your direct maternal line? If it is and you have done an mtDNA test here you should find them in your mtDNA matches. mtDNA is only passed to children from their mothers. Men cannot pass it to their children. So if this is your direct paternal great grandmother, or any line other than your direct maternal they will NOT show up in your mtDNA list. Best wishes on your search.

Hello - What exactly is this particular group attempting to discover, if anything in genetic genealogy. I'm not very well informed in any of this and would like some basics. Thank you, Leander
