1. To establish that there is a common ancestor, and that our AMASONs and AMERSONs are branches of the same family tree.
2. To establish if the AMASON or AMERSON families, which sometimes lived alongside known EMERSON and EMMERSON families are related to the EMERSON/EMMERSON families living in the same locations.
3. To determine early geographical origin of the EMERSON/EMMERSON, AMASON and AMERSON families.
