We seek to ID genetic representatives of the various STEFFY/STEFFEN groups of PA and surrounding areas. Adams, Franklin, Indiana, and York Counties PA and Frederick and Washington Counties MD especially were early "mixing places" of STEFFYs that we're trying to sort out.  Of course, this mixing continued into Western PA, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Iowa in particular. Our overall goal is to welcome and help anyone of any STEFFY/STEFFEN family group, whether identified or unidentified -- and of these or other geographical areas -- that will help define the various genetic genealogical makeup of these groups. 

We are especially looking for at least 37-marker Y-DNA test results (prefer 111-marker Y-DNA test result & SNP test to confirm Haplogroup) descendants of:

Andrew or Leonard STEFFY of Williamsport, Washington County MD
Peter STEPHENS of Stephens City VA
Jacob STEFFY, husband of Matilda PERRY of Hagerstown VA
Martin or Jacob Steffy (husband of Elizabeth AXER) of Lancaster City, PA
