I am redefining the purposes of this project to include all the exact matches for my brother's I1a haplotype in order to identify close relatives who are not only Sherbondys but anyone of any other surname who is an exact genetic match. Then I can work from the basis of genetic relatives and search for our historical roots until we may find a recent common ancestor.
