The goals of this project are to test descendants of these ancestors for their Y-DNA and mtDNA in order to identify their haplogroups focusing primarily on my grandparents Sherbondy, Gerke, Mueller, and Kabisch who all migrated to Fort Wayne, Indiana. I hope to expand the testing to descendants of my great grandparents which would include the surnames Miner, Scherer, Elett, and Frech.
