About us
The purpose of the NETTLES/NETTLE Surname DNA worldwide project("NETTLES") is to aid and support Nettles/Nettle (and variant forms of these surnames) family researchers by:
1. Putting families in touch with their genetic cousins
2. Dividing the related surnames into groups of more closely related families, to help determine the place of origin for each group
3. Identifying distinct branches of the families belonging to a single group and subbranches within each family
4. Adding to an existing large database of NETTLES family information, with the objective of providing a resource to aid the Nettles/Nettle descendants discover and link into their own line and learn the history of their family
