At this stage two unique paternal kinship group's have been identified. I2* and R1b, respectively.
Both these haplogroups represent early European tribes of the Upper Palaeolithic era.

R1b in Britain is considered to have wintered the last Ice Age in Iberia, I2* wintered in Southern France.

Both these group's were members of the proto-Celtic people of Europe.
