About us
The first two members are fifth cousins twice removed; one descends from John, the second son of Adam Zehner, the other from David, the third son. The perfect DNA match at the 12-marker level shows that they share a common male ancestor within the genealogical time frame, and further, it is 50% likely that no more than seven generations separate them from their most recent common ancestor. In fact, a rigorously documented genealogical study shows that one of these members is six generations removed from Adam, and the other is eight. I therefore conclude that their 12-marker haplotype is, with very high probability, also that of Johann Adam Zehner.
