This project tracks down individuals who are positive for the genetic Y-DNA marker (Z18243).
Any person, who is positive for this SNP (Z18243) or any of its downstream SNPs (BY72, ZS2156, and ZS5532), is welcome to join.
This SNP (Z18243) seems to originate in south west Arabia (Tehama) and migrate through Europe to as far as Ohio/Kentucky region (in the United States), specifically the Brock family line.
A Y-genetic tree is developed for the Z18243 SNPs and will be updated as additional kits join this project and as they test for BigY or other advanced genetic tests.
