Participation in this DNA Project is open to anyone with the surname Yardley or any of its variants and those who believe they descend from the Yardley family. The project welcomes all Yardley descendants world wide. Please join or contact us today! At this time the project results and findings are concentrated on the paternal(male) participants with the Y chromosome being tested. That chromosome is passed down from father to son, (no female interference) following the paternal line. Stay tuned for the day when more tools become available for the maternal(female) participant. I’m told that day is in the works. In the meantime you can participate by encouraging brothers, fathers, uncles and male cousins to become DNA donors to the project.
