The WRIGHT DNA Project welcomes all participants. Our hope is to break through barriers every genealogical researcher encounters. WRIGHT males should take a Y-DNA test. Men with maternal Wright lines as well as women without a male relative to test, are encouraged to join. Your autosomal DNA results may be the key to breaking a brick wall in your genealogy or someone else’s in the group. Maybe both! The plan is to: * chart the Y Chromosome of each DNA sample submitted * establish a data base to be used in furthering research * match individuals and families who share a common Wright male ancestor This is a public project. When you join you're making surname, ancestor and DNA related results public, but your personal information remains private and anonymous. We do not publish your full given name, kit number or contact info. Please read our Background Page for instructions and information.
