We are attempting to establish Y-chromosome DNA number sets for the Wickizer and Weckesser lines of Württemberg and Hessen, plus all related families of any surname. We also now have matches with the Uffinger/Ueffinger families and Dieffenbach/Deffinbaugh families of Baden-Württemberg, and since these families all seem to have a common ancestor deriving from the same small geographical area in Germany, have included these lines within the project's parameters.
