Determine the Y-DNA chromosome markers for various Wetzel family groups and similar sounding (in English) family surname groups in the USA which have not been linked by traditional research, and to try and determine if any of them share a common direct line male ancestor in the USA and/or have a theoretical common male ancestor in Europe in the last 400-600 years.
