Through research conducted in Spain in the Church (Catholic) Archives in Tarragona (in the Catalonian region of Spain) the group administrators were able to trace our specific Vidales line back to the late 1600's. Further research is needed to determine if there is a connection between Vidales presently living in other parts of Catalonia and Spain, and it is hoped that DNA testing will help direct our research efforts. Additionally, we are curious to learn if there is a connection with Vidales living in Latin America.
