Living people with the Van Drie family name belong to one of the six different families with that surname that can be distinguished. All six originate in the Veluwe region of the Netherlands, where the village of Drie is situated and in all six families the name originates in the eighteenth century. This project aims at researching possible common descent of those families. De tegenwoordige dragers van de naam Van Drie behoren tot zes verschillende families. Ze ontlenen hun naam aan het dorp Drie op de Veluwe. Bij alle zes de families ontstaat de familienaam Van Drie in de achttiende eeuw. Dit project onderzoekt de mogelijke gemeenschappelijke afstamming van de families.
