This project's goal is to allow comparison of mtDNA of people whose ancestors have lived in Union County, South Carolina. It is hoped that all of us can break through some brick walls, confirm or refute family lore, and create a profile of the the county's people. As an mtDNA project, we are trying to trace maternal lines, and only mtDNA results can be submitted.
