About us
May 2024 This website is under construction...delayed by my need to finish some other projects and then, of course, the diversion of Covid19! I hope to get things going here by late Fall, if not sooner. This group is the formalization of the informal group I started years ago to organize the matches to my father's U6a7 line....we've come a long way, baby and there will be a LOT of great info here soon. I'm going to send out invites and promote joining this group formally later this year...but if you're reading this, have tested and are U6a7 or one of it's subclades and want to join right now...please do!
Meanwhile, if you are not already in Bernard Secher's excellent U6 Project, you should consider joining that as well. Lots of great information there!
YOUR SETTINGS---To comply with new European privacy rules, FTDNA no longer picks the default settings for privacy and access to your account. So you need to do this yourself...or in most cases, I will have no access, which means I can't really help you or incorporate you into the group analysis. (Under no conditions can I get your password or change your account in any way, I assure you!) If you haven't already done so, please go to Manage Personal Preferences on your home dashboard page and under the "Project Preferences" tab, scroll down to Coding Region Sharing and check the box for "Opt into Sharing" so I can view your full results and give you feedback.
