The Tupper Y-DNA Surname Project was launched in January 2006 with the initial goal of charting the descendants of Thomas Tupper, who was among the founders of Sandwich, Massachusetts, in 1637, and those of Elijah Tupper, who was apparently born in Connecticut in 1788 and who had lived in Delaware County, New York, for some 40 years at the time of his death in 1858. We welcome the participation of other Tuppers as well.
