This project encompasses all those with the Templeton Surname and its derivatives. The project hopes to gather together DNA from all Templeton to determine connections and to help those who may have a connection only in name. Templeton and Jack R. Templeton as a way to identify Templeton's from Iredell Co. NC (Templeton, Alexander, and Black), from SC, and AL, MS, and TX, to see if they are kin by the DNA. With his passing in 2019, the project has turned its focus to an all-inclusive Templeton Group Project. Familial sub-grouping will be used to identify individual family/DNA lines. Thank you Jack for his years of service and work in the Genetic Genealogy Community and to our Templetons. In 2021 The Templeton's from Jay Norwalk's DNA work with the John Marks Templeton Family were integrated into this project as well.
