The Stickle DNA Project welcomes all participants -- serious researchers and family historians, as well as those who have only a casual interest in learning more about their family's past.

Participating is an opportunity to improve your family history research by tapping into information not provided in tradtional archival sources. Genetic genealogy allows us to discover previously unknown connections between family groups, and can be especially useful in tracking transcontinental migrations. As the project progresses, the results for the various family trees will provide information about the early modern origins of the surnames we are exploring.
