1. Initially we want to determine the haplogroup or ancestral pattern of the Speakes DNA. With this information, we will be able to gain some basic insight into the anthropological migrations of our distant ancestors who eventually settled in the British Isles.

2. We would like to identify various unrelated lines of Speak(e)s in America, or verify that all lines are related.
