Bienvenus dans le projet phylogénétique SOUCY (Traduction anglaise ci-après). Ce projet ambitionne de regrouper tous les porteurs attestés de l'ADNy hérité de notre plus lointain ancêtre commun, Jean Soucy dit La Vigne, qui a fait souche en Nouvelle-France en 1671. Notre connaissance approfondie de l'histoire des Soucy d'Amérique nous permet de combiner généalogie et génétique afin de développer l'arbre phylogénétique des différentes lignées de Soucy dans la descendance du sous-clade R-FT78819 dérivé de l'haplogroupe R-A8451. Nous possédons les bases de données et les outils nécessaires pour mener à bien l'exploration de ce nouveau chapitre de l'histoire intime de notre famille pour la faire connaître à nos membres. Ce groupe est bien sûr ouvert à tous les porteurs des variantes orthographiques du nom et à tous ceux qui portent le nom d'un père adoptif par suite d'un événement non parental. / Welcome to the SOUCY phylogenetic project. This project aims to bring together all the attested carriers of yDNA inherited from our most distant common ancestor, Jean Soucy dit La Vigne. Our in-depth knowledge of the history of the Soucy of America allows us to combine genealogy and genetics in order to develop the phylogenetic tree of the different Soucy lines in the progeny of the R-FT78819 subclade derived from the R-A8451 haplogroup. We have the databases and tools to successfully explore this new chapter in our family's intimate history and share it with our members. This group is of course open to all carriers of variant spelling of the name and to anyone bearing the name of an adoptive father as a result of a non-parental event.
