The purpose of the Shipman Family DNA project is to link the various SHIPMAN lines in America that have been unable to be linked using other types of genealogical research. These lines include, but are not limited to, the Daniel SHIPMAN line of Bladen County, NC, the Daniel SHIPMAN line of Rutherford County, NC, and the Edward SHIPMAN line of Saybrook, CN. Other American SHIPMAN lines, and English, German, and European lines are encouraged to participate.
