So far, three distinct Sherrod lines have been identified: descendants of John Sherrer, Sr. from Haplogroup I1a with Anglo-Saxon origins; desendants of Arnholtz Sherertz from Haplogroup R1b; and a third Sherrod line that is part of Haplogroup I1a (with probable Scandinavian origins)
