The main goal of the project is to determine gaplogroups of different Selivanov male lines and try to find common ancestors. Besides men having last names based on "Selivan" (such as Selivankin,Selivantsev, Selivanovski, Silivanov, Silivankin, Silivanovski etc.) are encouraged to participate in this project. The results of mtDNA and Family Finder tests of project participants are also interesting for group.
Besides can accept Selivanovs' relatives and neighbours, and also their paternal male line relatives.
