We have four 12 marker kits tested and two 67 marker kits tested. We have two members with Deep SNP’s tested. Within the different SEERGER-SEGER’s tested, we have no genetic matches to each other as our genetic distance to each another has a minimum distance of over six numbers in the distance calculations for all members within in our group. I have created subgroups as they are beginning to emerge based on Y-DNA and Haplogroup types. Four of our members have projected Haplogroup types and should consider having a Deep-SNP done to verify their Haplotype and see which sub-clade they belong too. This is a very over looked test and can provide excellent results. Having a DEEP-SNP completed also can help pinpoint others who belong to your sub-clade and this may help you start looking in the right direction for your connections. Sub-clade's have an advantage of more clearly defining a particular group and point to a specified known geographic location. Without testing having this test done you will never know for sure. We clearly have six separate and distinct surname sub-groups emerging in our project.
