This group has been created to establish the haplogroups of the various Poor/Poore/Poer/Power families around the world. The group started out with the primary focus of establishing the haplogroups of the New England Poor-Poore family. Specifically to determine the relationship between John Poore of Newbury who arrived later than his supposed siblings Daniel and Samuel Poore. However, anyone with the Poor/Poore/Poer/Power family lineage not connecting back to a New England origin are welcome to join to find a connection.
