There are a number of Platt families throughout the United States and in Europe, some knowing the origin of their ancestry, others unsure. It was decided that a Y-Chromosome DNA study would possibly help sort out these families. Any male with the surname Platt, or it's variations, is invited to join. The descendant's oldest documented Platt ancestor information is required and will be published with the kit results. We hope to test as many Platt lines as possible.
