About us

1. We seek to discover and distinguish the various Pipkin lineages all over the world. 2. In the United States, John Pipkin died in Chowan County, North Carolina, about 1745. His sons were John Jr., Joseph, Steward, Jesse, Lewis, Daniel and Phillip. This project seeks to locate male descendants of all of John's sons. 3. This is a Y-DNA project only. A male with the Pipkin (or spelling variant) surname must be the one taking the test. Name changes, such as in the case of adoption, are the exception to this.
