About us

The Piggin/Piggins surname has its origins in the Midlands and Norfolk areas of England. That's what the paper records show. To find out more, you can look at a free website, the One Name Study, which shows the approximate connections. A majority of persons using this surname today can trace an origin in either Norfolk or the Midlands. The surnames Piggin - without an S - and Piggins were interchangeably used within the same families, so they are just variants on a single ancient surname. So far we have tested two men and unlocked a genealogical puzzle that we could not solve using documentary records.
