This project is open to any genealogy researcher, but is primarily intended to focus on Y-DNA kit research related to the Pickett surname. The goals are to enable members to better understand their kit's relationship to other kits with the Pickett surname and to further genealogy research of the name. If the kit matches any other kit with a Pickett surname, then this project will enable you to further your research. Members do not need to provide any information to join, but it would be helpful to know the Y-DNA kit's earliest known ancestor and lineage from that ancestor to the kit to enable research goals. All Y-DNA kits (Y-12 to Big Y) are welcome.
