Miller and Meunier Family Project Objectives

• Serve as the hub for the genealogy, history and DNA of Jean Meunier and John Baptist Miller families of "Acadian" origin.
• Administrators share genealogical research and history information through a family heritage site, Our Miller - Meunier Family.
• Collect, record and integrate project member pedigrees.
• Test at YDNA 37+ STR markers and SNPs for Meunier and Miller direct male line representatives of Jean Meunier and John Baptist Miller.
• Collect autosomal DNA "Family Finder" tests (FTDNA accepts Ancestry and 23andme transfers) from male and female descendants.
  All of Jean and John's living descendants, male or female, are welcome and encouraged to join the project.
• Seek viable connections with aDNA and YDNA lines to advance knowledge of the lineages.
• Keep project members informed with transparency of project information, sharing of up-to-date project status and project objective through notifications and email, and forthcoming family newsletter.
• Encourage project members to actively participate - collaborate and connect with each other.
• Project members help via individual and collective participation create the genetic historical record of family.
  This legacy is an important part of the Meunier - Miller family story for the future generations of our great family.
