The Mosimann Haplotype (Modal)
About 18 generations ago, in the 15th Century, “Adam” Mosimann was probably living near the “moos,” a highland marshy area with poor drainage, between Moosegg and Holleschluecht in the hills above Signau, Bern, Switzerland. It’s very possible that he just relocated to the Emmental region from one of the secluded valleys in the Bernese Oberland. If he had taken a Y-111 DNA test it would have looked very much like the one which can be searched on Y-Search, ID # DAPQP
