The Mizrahi Heritage Project serves as a genetic census for Jews with roots in following geographic areas: Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Kurdistan (Nash Didan), Afghanistan, Caucasus (Mountain Jews and Georgian Jews), Uzbekistan (Bukhara), and Yemen. We welcome Jews from other communities such as Turkey and Egypt to join for their close proximity to the Mizrahi communities.
