We will be exploring both the ancient and more recent migration pathways of those ancestors who are not only 16235G + 16291T alone but also those who have additional markers 16293G and 16400T. Our goal is to eventually locate the geographical region where each SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) marker appeared. 

Members are encouraged to find distant cousins and to connect through their family pedigrees. This DNA Interest Group is not limited to those with full mitochondrial sequences.
