Women cannot take the Y-DNA test because they do not have the Y chromosome that men do. If you are from a female line, you can help by recruiting a male McGaughey/McGaha relative.
The McGaughey/McGaha Y-DNA study is run by volunteers and supported by descendants who are interested in the role of Y-DNA in identifying and connecting different family branches. Donations to the study are welcomed and 100 % of donated funds go for test sponsorships.
To support the Y-DNA study or to sponsor a test, please contact us.
