The MacAulays of Ireland Project has been set up for any MacAulay, McCaulley, McCauley, Macaulay, etc families who can trace their origin point back to Ireland (many of whom trace to what is now Northern Ireland, the former province of Ulster. This Project is supported directly by Clan MacAulay. The admins are currently Kathy McCauley and Lucas McCaw, who is also the Heritage Secretary for the Clan MacAulay. This Project will serve as a main communication point for these families and to recruit new paternal line males for Y DNA testing in order to expand our understanding of these families and their origin. Females who belong to these lines are also welcome, especially if they have a known male MacAulay in their family. Comprehensive genealogical genetic trees are built for those families with multiple testers. Specific testing strategies will also be discussed here in order to maximize the information for each branch. It is strongly urged that you upgrade to Big Y700 (via your account in the Shopping Cart) unless there are already immediate family members (a son, father, uncle, grandfather, etc) who have upgraded to Big Y700.
