About us
Welcome to the Loveall/Lovell Family Tree DNA Project—a collaborative genetic genealogy project for individuals with the surnames Loveall, Lovell, or similar variations. Our goal is to explore our shared ancestry, uncover connections among family branches, and deepen our understanding of our genetic roots through DNA testing.
Originally started when the first "Loveall" surname was entered into the FamilyTreeDNA database, this project began as a way to follow up on a participant's results from the National Geographic Genographic Project. With encouragement from FamilyTreeDNA, those results were transferred here to launch broader genealogical research. We now continue that work with renewed interest and fresh administration.
This group is open to all individuals who believe they may be related by DNA to members of the Loveall/Lovell family lines. Whether you're a seasoned genealogist or just beginning to trace your roots, we invite you to participate.
How to Join:
If you think you may be genetically related to the Loveall/Lovell families, please consider ordering a DNA kit from FamilyTreeDNA and requesting to join our group project.
Please Note: This is a volunteer-led project with no financial incentives. Our primary objective is to identify and connect DNA-related individuals for genealogical and scientific purposes only.
