Big Y DNA testing is proving to be a "wall breaker" for paternal lines.  This is especially true for haplogroup "I" participants, as most participants descended from the same family that was in Virginia in the 1600s.  The task for the haplogroup R families is more complicated, but progress is being made.  More Big Y participants are needed for all families from all haplogroups in the project.
