A Family Finder project to augment the Light** and other Swiss German or German surname projects with a combination of autosomal, mitochondrial, Y & X DNA results from Light, Licht, Lichty, Liechti, Leichte (and any close name variants) descendants AND allied families. Includes descendants of these families branching from the southeastern region of Pennsylvania in the late 1600s and early 1700s to the present. Determine more about how these families are related genetically, genealogically and geographically in Europe and better determine the Rhineland Palatinate and or Swiss ancestry groups represented. Hoping to find European DNA matches with genealogy research or traditions for best understanding of the regional origins.
