Lesum is a city in Hannover, Germany, located near the city of Bremen. In about 780 A.D., Sankt Martini Kirche was built in Lesum. People from many different towns attended the church, which is still in operation today. Unfortunately, the parish records do not begin until 1656. Most of these records have been microfilmed by the L.D.S.
