About us
Kymenlaakso DNA project is an geographical Y-DNA and mtDNA project focusing on the area of Kymenlaakso (in Swedish "Kymmenedalen") province in Finland. All who have ancestry from Kymenlaakso region are warmly welcomed to join the project. The project's goal is to collect information on paternal and maternal lineages originating from the Kymenlaakso region and parishes close by.
If you have your ancestry outside of Kymenlaakso but your ancestor have lived close by, you are also welcome to join the project!
