This project is for anyone who is confirmed or predicted to belong to YDNA haplogroup K but has not been placed in any of the major downstream haplogroups M, N, O, P, Q, R, S or T. The first letter in your haplogroup designation (BEFORE the hyphen) must be a K. Please join if you have been invited by one of the Project Administrators or another project has recommended you join. The project goals are to assist members in investigating their own paternal ancestry and to lead on developing the YDNA haplotree for new branches of haplogroup K.
