This project is to provide a means of enabling those people with the surname Curtius, Curtze, Korte, Kurtz, Kurtze, Kurz or a variant, to take aY-DNA test and hopefully find their relatives and in particular get clues to their ancient roots in the Germanic world. 

For me personally it is to discover Y-DNA relatives descended from the Dutch 17th century progenitor of the Van Someren family of Zwolle, Overijssel, Netherlands called Christian Kurtze.
