This project is open to all Kaighins and variant spellings - Kaighen, Kaighan, Keighin and Kaighn.  The surname Kaighin is the Manx derivative of the Scottish surname MacEachan.  With the notable exceptions of most of the New Jersey Kaighns, all Kaighins alive today are descended from ancestors who resided in the Isle of Man.  Any Kaighin male is invited to participate in this project, but please check with me first to ensure that someone close to you hasn't already tested.  All interested Kaighins are also invited to join the project to view the results.

Please also consider donating to the project's general fund.  This will allow other Kaighins who may not have the financial means to participate to be able to purchase and order test kits.
